Wednesday, August 20 at 12 O’clock,
Carol Ash Commissioner, Office
of Parks, Recreation, and Historic
Preservation (OPRHP) and Pete
Grannis, Commissioner Department
of Environmental Conservation
announced that the Beaverkill
Covered Bridge had been placed
on the New York State Register
of Historic Places in a ceremony
that took place at the Campsite.
A
appreciative crowd of FOBCmembers
attended and showed their support
for the action the state has taken
in preserving the bridge.
